Description
Water-based inks can be blended together to create colored backgrounds, adding texture to a map. They can also be used with stencils to create homemade hex paper.
These inks should be used for the background of your map, whereas archival dye ink pads should be used to stamp the symbols in the foreground.
To apply a water-based ink you will need blending tools and foam applicators. I recommend purchasing a separate blending tool for each of your ink pads.
