Game Stamps are a map-making tool for role-playing games and board games.

Stamp each hex as the players explore it, or pass the stamps around the table and create a shared world. Whether you’re preparing for a campaign or mapping the adventure as it unfolds, the stamps will help you create beautiful paper and ink maps in a fraction of the time it would take to draw them.

The Trailblazer edition depicts iconic terrain like mountains, forests, and seas. It also features sites like castles, towers, and villages, making it ideal for fantasy maps. The artwork is compatible with 1″ hexes, making it ideal for creating campaign maps for role-playing games.

The Trailblazer edition was the first map-making stamp kit, released in 2019. Later editions expanded it, adding smaller stamps that can be used with or without the original Trailblazer stamps.

The Cartographers edition can be used with the board-game Cartographers or as a map-making tool for other games. The artwork is compatible with 1/2″ hexes and grids.

The Campaign Expansion adds many additional designs to the Basic Set, which can be used to create overland maps for role-playing games. These stamps work well as a supplement for the original Trailblazer edition, but they can also be used on their own, if you prefer smaller hexes or squares.

Ink pads are available in a variety of colors. I recommend using archival dye ink pads with stamps, because they dry rapidly and are less likely to smudge.

You can also use stencils to add color and texture to your maps, or to create campaign maps on large sheets of homemade hex paper. The stencils are available in two sizes, for use with either the Trailblazer or Cartographers editions.

Water-based ink pads are available for use with stencils. They have different properties than the dye-based archival ink pads, and are not well-suited for stamping images. If have any questions about the inks, please contact me at brendan@gamestamps.com.

Shipping Notes:

I am no longer able to ship to EU nations as of December 2024, due to ambiguity around the newly implemented General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR). I hope to resume shipping to EU nations at some point in the future.
